Clean the cutting board by hand with detergent and hot water immediately after use, let it stand or hang dry and avoid to keep it in water since that dries out the wood.
Gently lubricate the cutting board before use with a food-certified oil such as coconut oil. If the board gets bright spots or if it begin to feel dry, oil treatment can be repeated to keep the cutting board beautiful and long lasting.
